Designed to fit the American Girl Doll & other soft bodied 18” dolls with similar measurements.
DESIGNER’S NOTES :When casting on use the long tail method as it is easy to weave in all tails when finished. The pattern includes knitting instructions for a dress, panties & hairtie. The dress knit in 1 piece until armhole division with 3 buttons at the back closure. The slightly puffy set in sleeves gives it a cute look. I have included a clear and easy chart to follow for the dolly pattern knit over 16 rows.
SUPPLIES NEEDED :
- Any Double Knit Weight 3 ( PLEASE CHECK YOUR GAUGE ). I used Stylecraft Special Double Knit 54 gm for main and 32 gm for contrast colour
- Size 3.75 mm ( US 5 ) straight knitting needles
- Size 3.50mm ( US 4 ) straight knitting needles for panties
- 3 Buttons
- Row counter
- Tapestry needle
- Ribbon for hairtie
