Popular Aran weight cape with separate buttoned trim and "pocket" slits. The shaped panels are knitted flat, sewn together and the collar then attached.
The pattern is written for Debbie Bliss Aran Tweed (from Kilcarra) which is now discontinued. Suggested substitutions are Donegal Silk TweedAran form New Lanark Mills, Kilcarra Tweed from Knoll Yarns, Donegal Luxury Tweed *from Debbie Bliss or *Hamelton Tweed 1 from BC Garn.
