Double Bend is a delightful little cowl with an interesting construction: you start by knitting flat, starting with the shape of a halfpi shawl. This makes it possible for the finished cowl to lay naturally against the neck. After you knit two repeats of the lace and get comfortable, you join in the round and continue the lace pattern. For an interesting twist, the last repeat of the pattern is inverted. Perhaps you can guess my inspiration for the name?
