This simple owl pattern is completely loveable and knits up in no time at all.
Techniques used include: knitting in the round, increasing and decreasing, three needle bind off and short rows. The wings can be knit onto the body or sewn on at the end. (Links are included for all techniques).
A very small amount of contrast yarn is required for the beak and eyes.
The dreamy owl was designed as a companion pattern to the dreamy fox pattern and can be knit using yarn left over from the fox if you are using the Dream in Color yarn recommended for both.
