Dunia is a very relaxing shawl to make. An easy, plain garter stitch body perfect for TV knitting, and the fun part at the end, with a gorgeous lace edge in a contrasting color. The shawl construction, will allow you to play with colors and will be perfect stash buster! Choose one, two or more colors, however you want.*

Finished Measurements Approx. 160cm / 63” wingspan and 70cm / 27½” center depth. Materials Fingering weight yarn in two colors: MC: about 420m/460yds, CC: about 210m/230yds. Sample was made with merino super wash, 420m/100g, hand dyed by me. Gauge 21 sts x 48 rows over 10 cm/4” in Garter St measured after blocking. Gauge is not crucial for this project but will affect yardage and final size when different. Recommended needle sizes 4.0 mm/US #6 circular needles. Others Stitch markers and tapestry needle.
