Easter Peeps Bunnies mosaic crochet square

Who doesn't love these fun little Peeps Bunnies at Easter time? This pattern is for an overlay mosaic crochet square that can be used in other types of projects, such as blankets, pillows, tote bags, table mats, etc.

Any yarn or hook will work, depending on the desired size of the finished square. I used yarn weight of 4 with a 5.5 hook, which creates a square of 13.5” x 13”.

You can do this in just 2 colors of yarn - or add extra colors to the rows for multiple color bunnies like in the image! The background takes 2 oz (100 yds) of medium weight #4 yarn as does the main design (bunnies, lettering & border) This is a great way to use up scraps!

I have general instructions on how to add other colors to the rows to create the bunnies in different colors, however the row by row instructions just list one color. I also have videos on how to add extra colors to the rows that I mention in the pattern. They were filmed with other patterns but the concepts are the same.
