This is the first in a series of blankets designed to be very easy to make, yet have beautiful results. The stitch reminds me of a very cozy sweater that any baby would love to be wrapped up in. The pattern is made up of basic knit and purl stitches, yet the maker can be creative using their choice of yarn weight, colors and stripe widths. The pattern instructions are written for three different yarn weight; 850 yards worsted weight (size 4), or 650 yards chunky/bulky weight (size 5), or 500 yards super bulky weight (size 6). The Baby blanket is about 28 by 30 inches. The pattern is written in English only.
