Who doesn’t love an easy, stylish modern crochet storage basket to fancy up their home? This free crochet pattern uses only single crochet stitches but with a modern twist! I wanted these baskets to be simple so I started it off with single crochets. But I also wanted there to be some sort of modern texture. I remembered using the spike stitch years ago and if that wasn’t enough, I knew changing the color would make it look even more dramatic.
The techniques you will need to know are: chain stitch, single crochet, & how to crochet with double strands (I have tutorials for each of these over on the blog!)
