These chicks are egg shaped with little hats, would make a lovely Easter gift if you are looking for a crafty alternative to chocolate. The yellow and white chick uses fair-isle (stranded) colour-work, and written instructions and a chart are provided. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the chicks and hats are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
