**About this Design:**The Eldhraun lava field in Iceland is covered in an amazing carpet of green moss. The rounded lumps and bumps created by the lava are sometimes a lighter green than the moss in the folds between the lumps. Looking at these depressions, I started to see patterns and wondered if I could capture some of them using cables. Thus the Eldhraun cowl was created.
Gauge: 26 sts and 30 rows to 4 inches (10 cm) over Chart A, blocked
Yardage: 505 (821) yards/461 (751) meters of a merino and cashmere blend worsted weight yarn that knits up to 4.5 sts/inch.
