Elephants never forget and with these beautiful socks, everyone will remember you!
This sock is knit from the cuff down to the toe. The heel has a flap and gusset style construction, which fits great and is wonderful for beginner sock knitters.
The Elephant Socks have a colorwork section with two rows of hearts and a parade of elephants on the ankle, and two more rows of hearts before the toe decreases. The toe is rounded, and the final stitches are grafted together using Kitchener stitch.

Yarn: Any sock weight
**Gauge:**34 stitches/40 rounds = 4”/10cm square as worked in stockinette
**Suggested Needles:**US 1.5/2.5mm double pointed needles, set of 5 (or circular needles for magic loop method). US 1/ 2.25mm double pointed needles, set of 5 (or circular) for ribbing and heel flap.
