These mittens were designed with a small hand in mind. Many mitten patterns are too large for me (my wedding ring is a size 4) and I wanted a pair of mittens slim and simple! The thumb is tapered, which helps when trying to pick up things, plus its gusset placement is offset and on the palm side which is more comfortable and natural. Best of all, it does not use a lot of yarn! Total Length: 8 inches Circumference: approx 6 ½ inches (to fit 7in circum. hand) Thumb length (measured from base of gusset to tip) approx 4in.
