Preceded by a version for wee ones, this cozy heirloom sweater was upsized and tweaked to suit children from kindergarten into their early teens. It features a variety of aran cable patterns on both body & sleeves with a stand-up collar. It’s finished with a zipper through the body and a button closure at the neck. The sweater is worked seamlessly from the bottom up. Shown in size 8. The pattern is designed to challenge the experienced knitter who is comfortable working from multiple charts simultaneously, as well as performing decreases while staying in pattern. There is also a free tutorial available that demonstrates crossing cables before performing a decrease. Illustrated instructions for zipper installation are included.
