Eloelai Beats Per Minute Blanket

This pattern came about because I wanted to combine my enjoyment of crochet with raising money for a charity that was close to my heart. I designed this blanket to represent a human heart rate: 60 red hearts to show the normal amount of beats per minute, another 40 pink hearts, taking the total to 100 bpm, the top end of the "normal" range, and 200 white ones, making 300 hundred in total - my heart rate when I had my first cardiac arrest. After making all the hearts, I joined them together in a repeating pattern, and people were able to enter to win the finished product. I raised over £400 for Cardiomyopathy UK, and the sales of this pattern will continue to raise funds. Thank you!
