This is a pattern for a cardigan worked flat with cable motif. It is worked from the bottom up with the body fully written and motif charted. The sleeve has both written and chart for Cable motif with all other sts worked in St st.

Stitches are cast on for body, rib is worked and then Cable motif to desired length. Each sleeve is worked (in the round) by casting on sts and working rib cuff, then Sleeve Cable motif whilst making increases until desired length. Then underarm sts from body and sleeves are placed on holders and the body and sleeves are joined to work the Raglan shaping decreases. Neck shaping is worked and then the collar. Finally, sts are picked up for the button bands.
