Esther

“Esther” is a waisted sweater with lace elements on front part, back part and sleeves - it’s easy to knit if you are familiar with knitting lace patterns.

The sweater ist worked from bottom up in single pieces and sewn together afterwards. For the sweater shown on the photos I used the wonderful pure silk yarn “Mora” from malabrigo. So it’s the perfect piece for spring and summer. But it will look lovely in fine merino or alpaca yarns as well.

Sizes: Instructions are fiven for sizes S, M, L, XL, XXL and 2XL

Bust circumferences of finished sweater: 34”, 36”, 39”, 46½”, 50” and 54” (86, 92, 100, 118, 128 and 138 cm)

Waist circumference of finished sweater: 26¾”, 30”, 34½”, 37¾”, 41¾” and 46” (68, 77, 88, 96, 106 and 117 cm)

Materials: approx. 1125/1250/1350/1700/2000 yds of fingering yarn US 2 (2,5 mm) circular or straight needles (or any size to obtain gauge of 23 sts and 38 rows in 4”).
