The “Everyday Companion” shawlette is a quick one skein project knitted sideways from tip to tip. It features a simple garter main part and a lovely cabled edge. Both are knitted at the same time. The long, slim and rounded shape of the shawlette makes it easy to wear with any outfit.
The pattern provides fully written and charted instructions. A checklist table makes it easy to keep track of your progress.
There are two different approaches to knitting this shawl. In addition to the classic one-skein pattern, you can also use any amount of yarn and adjust the shawlette size to your amount of yarn available. And the best thing is: you don't even need to know the yardage of your yarn! All you need is a kitchen scale.
