As yarn lovers we all have leftover bits of yarn and often same colors but different dye lots. Half a skein or less seems impossible to throw away and simply could NOT be enough to use in a blanket. Not the case with Fair Isle Flair; some colorwork sections require as little as 8 yds/7m of yarn.
Choose a main color and 4 contrast colors, or work each pattern repeat in a different main color or dye lot, with different contrast colors; the possibilities are endless.
