Fairestknits Miniature Nunavut

This is a PDF pattern for a Scandinavian-style pullover sweater and ear-flap hat to fit an 18 inch doll similar to American Girl dolls. Body and sleeves are knit in the round separately to underarm then joined for the yoke. A placket opening using intarsia technique is created at the back, beginning at the start of the yoke and the stranded fair isle yoke is worked flat [back and forth with both knit and purl rows]. The PDF is 13 pages with 2 color charts and photo tutorial for placket.

Needles: 2 US/2.5 mm and 3 US/3 mm needles either double point or circular.

Yarn: light worsted or use any yarn that will give you a gauge of 26 stitches and 32 rows per 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch with 3 US/3 mm needles.

I used the following amounts of yarn but you may need more or less: Bernat Softee Baby grey marl for the main color: 161 yards/147 metres. Lion Brand Jeans-stovepipe for contrast 1: 42 yards/38 metres. Loops and Threads Joy DK-ruby for contrast 2: 16 yards/15 metres
