Fairy Hat Photo Prop or Fancy Dress

Pretty as a picture and twice as nice! Perfect for a newborn photo shoot but equally perfect for little and big girls alike!

Pattern can be worked in sizes newborn to adult or head circumference 12-24" (30-55 cm).

You will need: Up to 200m Aran yarn in main colour, a small amount of Aran yarn in green for the calyx, a 4.00mm hook, a stitch marker and a needle for neatening ends.

Gauge: 8sts and 4 rows to 2" measured over trebles.

Hook and yarn may be changed providing you can achieve gauge listed.

Please note! Stitches need to be tight in order for the petals to curl and you will find this is usually achieved with a hook size smaller than is recommended for the yarn.

Chart provided to assist with working petal section.
