A narrow, crescent shawl, worked sideways then transitions to being worked from the top down; features a delicate lace body and finished off with short row wings. The project uses one hank of solstice midsommar sock yarn, which with its blend of merino, cashmere and silk offers a perfect blend of elegance and warmth. Pattern includes notes on how to knit a larger version of the shawl; need approx. 800 - 900 yards of fingering weight yarn or 2 hanks of sock yarn for a larger version.
Gauge is not critical.
