The pattern comes in fully written out as well as charted instructions. It was designed for worsted weight yarn in solid/semisolid colourways. The sample shown used 3 skeins of beautifully soft Madelinetosh Tosh Vintage. Allow approx. 600yds/546m to get the size of the sample. The pattern is very easy to adjust to other yarn weights and/or yardages if you wish to make a smaller or larger shawl.
