Farmer's Favorite Socks

These are my absolute favorite work socks! They are easy to make, built to withstand the wear and tear of a full day's work, fit like a glove, and are thin and stretchy enough to fit in all of my work shoes. And, when they do eventually get worn through on the bottom, there are lots of available loops inside which makes darning them a breeze. But the best thing is that there is no heel to make! Just a simple join jup the back of the foot! This pattern is written for sturdy, affordable, superwash wool/nylon sport weight sock yarn. Sock yarn that's not too fine or pretentious, so you can make lots of them without straining your eyes or your budget!
