Favorite Cable Hat

Each autumn/winter season I try to design new cold weather accessories. Each time I try to solve some issues you might have with crochet hats – too stiff, too thick or opposite, too lacy or not stretchy enough and etc. But this hat is absolutely perfect – the texture is very soft, but thick at the same time, cables add wonderful texture and perfect shape, brim can be made in one layer or double, depends what fits you better. Bonus – it is great for girls and boys! To make the puffs stand out please follow instructions as described. It is better to use wool or wool blend yarn for a better texture and easier blocking. The top part may seem a bit too big at the begging but it is made so that the hat doesn’t stretch out too much and cables stand out well. The brim is tighter and will provide great fit.
