Size 3 & 5 straight needles
25 yards worsted weight wool or wool blend yarn
2 stitch holders
Felt (wool or wool blend) for appliqué designs
DMC embroidery floss or DMC #5 weight pearl cotton in desired colors
Buttons for heart & star design
YARN: Any worsted weight yarn will work with this pattern. This is a great stash buster project. Or splurge on a nice skein of yarn and make lots of mittens to give as gifts.
