Felted Mittens A very cosy but effective design, perfect for a cold wintery day. The felting makes these mittens waterproof and windproof, so that you can use them for playing in the snow, going down the ski slopes or just for a bike-ride down to town.
On the construction This pattern is knitted from the bottom, in the round using the magic loop technique. Alternatively 4 double pointed needles can be used.

Yarn Sandness PEER GYNT, 100% Norwegian Wool 90m (98Yd) = 50g (9.75oz), Light Grey, Dark Grey.
Yarn Requirements 3 Skeins about 50g (9.75oz) dark grey 1 Skein about 50g (9.75oz) light grey (model 1 only)
Tension 20 Sts and 26 rounds = 10cm [4 inch] over stockinette before felting.
