Just look at this adorably inquisitive Fennec Fox. He's cute, cuddly, and all ears. He's just waiting to come home and live with you and your family.
This Fennec Fox is suitable for intermediate level knitters and assumes an understanding of basic stitches, short rows and standard knitting terms. Our Fennec Fox is knit flat and sewn together using a mattress stitch.
You will need approximately 75 m of medium weight brown yarn, 35 m of medium weight cream yarn, 2 m of medium weight dark brown yarn and 2 m of medium weight pink yarn. With this yarn, use 4 mm (US size 6) needles. You will also need a small amount of black yarn to embroider the face, stuffing (we use ecofil or wool) and a tapestry needle to sew your Fennec Fox together. This will let you create a Fennec Fox that’s approximately 23 cm (9 inches) high, 15 cm (6 inches) deep and 10 cm (4 inches) wide.
