This hat is a little bit of a challenge, encompassing colorwork from a chart and French knots (optional). Probably not for the beginner knitter. It is knitted in the round (use a size US 2 on the ribbing instead of size US 4 for a more "beret-like" look). You will love working with Fresco. It's soft and dreamy! Changing out the colors really changes the personality of this hat. I've seen it worked up in red and black - very graphic looking!
