He can be made in any yarn and hook combination you want. Just be certain that the fabric is firm enough that stuffing does not show through.
My Finley is made in Vanna’s Choice Solids using 130 yards/ 120 meters of the Dusty Blue colorway.
Finley is an beginner to Intermediate-level pattern. Skills you will need include single crochet, increases, decreases, joining new yarn with single crochet, and some seaming. Included is a photo tutorial on how create child-safe eyes from felt, although instructions for using plastic safety eyes are given as well.
