First, Love is a deep, rippling crescent meant for playing with colour. Perfect for pairing a solid with a set of mini skeins, some variegated yarn, or putting some leftovers to good use.
The body of the shawl is worked from the top down in a semi circular shape, then transitions to a crescent formula to add extra length at the sides for wrapping and draping without becoming as deep as a traditional semi circle.
Adaptable to any yarn weight, and any yardage, by adjusting needle size to suit your preferred gauge, and knitting until you run out of yarn.
Can be worked entirely from written pattern, or from chart with some notes. Pattern rows are worked on RS only.
It is named as a reminder that when we put love first, before gender, colour, religion, self*, good things can happen.
