Thick, cushy ribs in light and dark shades of the same color (or contrasting colors) take on a deeply textured 3-D look with Fisherman’s Rib. This gender-neutral hat is worked in the round from the bottom up, using only one color at a time. It’s completely reversible so you get two different looks in one. If you love the look of brioche but want an easier way, you may fall in love with fisherman’s rib.
Designed for worsted weight wool Total yarn needed: 40 (45, 50) yds/36 (41, 46) m of each color for a hat with a straight edge or 55 (60, 65) yds/50 (55, 59.5) m for a hat with a folded cuff
