Three gashes of varying sizes give you a peek into the innards of this otherwise straightforward striped hat (or, rather, a peek into a faux-lining you create in minutes with just a strip of knitting.) Subtle colored stripes and highly textured yarn add just a bit of depth, but experiment with more contrast-y combinations for a more bold, geometric look.
