Just one skein of any aran-weight yarn for the mitts plus 18 yards of Kidsilk Haze or similar plus a few small beads needed for the flowers!
These are basic stocking stitch mitts knitted in the round on a cirncular needle. The flower is optional, and is knitted flat on the same needle then sewn to the mitt.
