Pretty flower coasters with a little basket crocheted in pure cotton. I use Lily Sugar and Cream but any sturdy worsted weight cotton can be used. You can fold them into little flowers and arrange in the basket to create a basket of flowers or just stack them inside for a different floral effect. The little basket has a frilly edge to add to the flower basket look.
A lovely gift for any flower lover, nice for Mother's Day, birthday or housewarming. Also a thoughtful hostess gift. Or a gift for yourself!
The coasters are about 4 inches across.
The pattern is not difficult, fine for a beginning crocheter who knows how to do the basic stitches. .
