This hat is a brioche-free version of my Heartbreaker pattern that imitates the look with a strategic gauge change/double stranding (or as I like to call it, brifauxche. Do you think that’ll catch on? Probably not.)
As written, the hat will fit approximately a 21-22" head (but is stretchy!) Less slouchy (pink) and more slouchy (green) options are offered.
You’ll need your yarn wound into a center pull ball, which can be done with a yarn winder (yarn stores often provide this service) or by hand. Make sure to use a nice, neat ball- any tangles will be amplified into chaos! Alternatively you can wind your yarn into two separate balls.
