These classic shaped mittens come with a twist: the mittens can be converted into mitts. Flip them over to use your fingertips.
The mittens are completely worked in rounds. Starting at the bottom with corrugated ribbing, the Fair Isle pattern is revealed as the pattern comes to the tip. The colorwork is inspired by the graphic artist M.C. Escher. His art had a strong mathematical component.
The aran-weight yarn gives a warm thickness and makes it a quick project. Choose two contrasting colors to reveal the fractal.
