FRANCESCO - a nice cardigan in DK-weight wool made for my first grandchild. Plain knitting in reverse with columns in slip stitches. The sleeves are worked from top downwards. Welt and cuffs are in garter sts. Along the front opening there are tip coloured bands. Written pattern with charts. Worked flat from right side front opening over the back to the left side opening until armholes. Convenient to work flat on circular needles.
Skill level required from 1 (beginner) to 5 (advanged): 3↑.
The measurements throughout the pattern are given in cm as well as inches.
Yarn: this design applies for a DK-weight wool, 50 g = ca.125 meters. To use 100 - 150 g in main colour and 10 g each tip colour.The original model was made in SPORT, 100 % merino wool, from Campolmi Roberto Filati in Florence (Firenze), Italy.
