Frissle the boarlet

This crochet pattern is written in US terms. With this very detailed pattern, you can make a super realistic looking boarlet.

Materials

Worsted weight Lètt Lopi yarn and an E US/3.5 mm crochet hook. Yarn (you can ignore the straw colour if you prefer): barley - 1419 (1/5 of a 100-yard skein), acorn heather - 0053 (1/12) and the same amount of straw - 1418. For the eyes I’ve used 8 mm animal safety eyes. You will also need fibrefill, I’ve used wool filling. A pipe-cleaner to make the boarlet bendable is optional.
