I have always loved the look of different cloaks thru the different eras, from the castle age to modern fairytale love storys. I could not find a suitable crochet pattern so I set to work, and the final design is this pattern. It has a nice flow to the design, that is not easily accomplished with crochet. I hope you enjoy the design as much as I do.
Gauge is set for best fit for shoulder area for all. Pattern is marked for 30, 40. 50 and 60 inch lengths.
Measurement: measure the person who will be wearing the cloak from the neck (collar line) down to the length desired. For full length subtract 2 inches from your measurement. (Cloak will get longer with wear.)

- Use your favorite worsted weight yarn, I use Frog closures to fasten the cloak. I used 22 Skeins of Michael's Craft Smart Purple and 3 Orchid Mist.
