About the Design Gabriella was meant to turn heads with her snug, cropped shape and sweet little lace pattern! This sweater knits up quickly, thanks to the yarn weight, as well as the cropped length and fitted shape. The (grey) wool blend sample is knit in Eco Cloud. The cotton blend sample is knit in Cotton Rich.
Stretched dimensions are approximate.
Gauge:19 sts and 24 rows = 4″ (10 cm) in St st with size 9 ndls and wool or size 8 ndls and cotton, 18 sts and 26 rows = 4″ in Lace Patt, unstretched, or size needed to give gauge.
Notes 1) The cotton sweater uses one size smaller ndls, to achieve gauge, due to cotton’s lack of resiliency. 2) As a size guideline, I prefer the size M (32.5″ unstretched) for my 37″ chest, though the size S does also stretch to fit. For a less tight sweater, make a larger size. The dress form used to model the samples has a 35.5″ chest and 15″ shoulder to waist measurement.
