What is more joyful than the bounty of bright flowers blossoming anew each year? These socks are a celebration of one of my favorites, the bearded iris. I love the iris because it appears just in time to mark the transition from spring to summer with its plethora of colors.
Knitted from the cuff down to the toe, the iris flower pattern is created using stranded colorwork with beautiful hand-dyed and variegated yarns. A contrasting slip-stitch heel flap and colorful side-decreased toe keep the knitting engaging to the end.
Finished Size: Adult - one circumference size only approx. 8” (20 cm); foot length adjustable as needed.
