Produktdetails
Named after the God of the forge is this fitted pullover adorned with a crest like cable at the top of the front, at the bottom of the back and at the cuff of both sleeves. The rest of the sweater is worked in stockinette stitch to allow the cable to shine. Gavida is worked in pieces for the ultimate fit with a crew neck that ends in a double neckband in rib. It is knitted in the divine Bastøy – a silk and pelt wool mixture - by Oslo Mikrospinneri, hand dyed by Værbitt.
Sizes: XS (S, M, L, XL) (2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL) Shown in size Small.
Yarn: Meterage: 922 (1012, 1102, 1192, 1282) (1417, 1552, 1687, 1822) m.
Needles: 4 mm straight needles and circular needle (40 cm/16”) for neckband.
Gauge: 20 sts and 30 rows in St st using 4 mm needle measures 10 cm square after blocking. 21 sts and 30 rows in Twisted rib using 4 mm needle measures 10 cm square after blocking.
Notes: The pullover is worked back and forth in separate pieces and seamed. The neckband is worked double in the round.
