Geometrical motif Cecina

This geometrical motif is part of a series of 20 geometrical motifs. With these motifs you can chrochet the project of your choice: a scarf, a poncho, a blanket, a carpet, … In this example I crocheted a wrap with this motif ‘Cecina’.

This scarf was crocheted with Cahlista by Scheepjeswol (see last photos for details). I used a hook size 6.00 mm (J/10) for the foundation chain and 5.00 mm (H/8) for the wrap. The poncho measures 67 cm (26.37 in) x 138 cm (54.33 in) and weighs 630 gram. The nice thing about these geometrical motifs is that you can use them for any project of your choice: a scarf, a poncho, a blanket, a carpet, … Play with color and yarn and you will create a unique object every time. They are also very easy to make: you only need to know how to chain and double crochet (US). The step-by-step makes it even for beginners to crochet this geomerical motif. The pattern is written in US terms, but I have added a conversion chart.
