«The glacier flows silently and gently along the mountain rocks»
The Glacier Cardigan is knitted seamlessly, both ways top down and bottom up beginning at the cabled yoke. The yoke and body are knit flat and the sleeves in the round. It starts with the cable panel which includes short rows to shape the shoulder. Then the stitches for the neckline and the body are picked up along both edges. After picking up stitches for the body, short rows are worked for a higher back. There are shaping decreases and increases along the body sides. It will be worn with approx. 5-10 cm (2.0-4.0”) positive ease around the bust. Shown in size S and on an 84cm (33”) bust.
