These are a wonderful pattern. My 4 year old niece has taken the green one and will not give it back to me.
I am not sure whether to call them finger puppets because the eyes fit over your fingers, or hand puppets as the rest of the face is made up of your hand. It is amazing how many different expressions you can make with them. I wish I could post a video with the listing to show you how cute they can be.
They are the perfect project for fetes or bon bon (cracker) fillers as they only use about 10 1/2 m (11 1/5) yards of yarn. The perfect stash buster!. They also only take about 30-40 minutes from start to finish and they are a great, unusual novelty.
They are knitted on 2 needles with 8 ply (DK) yarn so even a beginner can make him. They measure about 6 1/2cm (2 1/2") tall.
