They say diamonds are a girl's best friend, but I think I prefer rubies - red and sparkly, with a fire hidden inside. Alas, rubies are out of my budget, so I' ll settle for a pair of ruby-coloured luxurious mitts. A silk blend yarn gives them a subtle sheen, and the intricate lace pattern reminds me of gem-studded jewellery.
In the same lace pattern there is also a pair of [socks][1].
Construction The mitts are worked from the top of the hand towards the cuff, with a shaped gusset for the thumb.

Det sägs att diamanter är en flickas bästa vän, men jag tror att jag föredrar rubiner - röda och lysande, med en inre eld. Tyvärr ryms inte rubiner i min budget, så jag nöjer mig med ett par rubinfärgade lyxiga halvvantar. Det silkeblandade garnet ger dem en subtil glans, och det intrikata spetsmönstret påminner mig om juvelbesatta smycken.
