Ganseys have a classic style and look that draw a knitter in, but the fitting on a traditional gansey leaves something to be desired. My Grand View gansey adds modern shaping to the classic appeal of this sweater!

Construction notes  This pullover is worked from the bottom up starting with the Channel Island cast-on which is traditional for ganseys. The pattern a complete package for gansey knitting. It is written for nine sizes and includes notes on ease and picking the right size for you. I also include step-by-step instruction for the traditional Channel Island cast-on technique. The diamond pattern and cables are both charted and written out line-by-line.
