Gravel Path

This pattern is part of Yarn Crush Subscription box of June 2019 This pattern was inspired by the seed stitch technique as I found it a texture that was simple enough for beginners or for anyone who wants to add a bit more flair to a plain sock pattern. I named it Gravel Path because it reminds me of trails found when you’re getting away from the hustle and bustle of life and want to relax.

This pattern is written for both toe up and cuff down

Sizes

Adult Small, Medium, Large

Needles 2.25 mm / US 1 or size needed to obtain correct gauge Please note the sample was knit using magic loop but you are able to use any method preferred

Yarn Options 100g of fingering weight yarn

Sample was knit using Black Cat Custom Yarn Luxury Sock. 70% superwash merino wool, 20% cashmere, 10% nylon; approx. 400 yards (365 m) per 4.0 oz (115 g) skein; 1 skein.

Gauge 34 st and 48 rounds per 4 inches
