These gloves are a quick knit with a simple flowing cable and some bobbles to add texture. If you're not keen on so many bobbles you could always omit the ones at the sides and just keep the ones in the centre, which I think would make a nice alternative design. Gloves are always best made in a wool yarn for warmth and durability. The original yarn used to make these has been discontinued, but any DK Merino or wool yarn could be used, such as King Cole Luxury Merino DK.
