Green Forest Scarf

It feels to me like Christmas. Very festive. If made from pure alpaca, it is also extremely warm, luxuriously heavy and cozy like a hug. The scarf is knitted seamless in a round from tip to tip with colour work sections on the tips and in the middle of the scarf and two sections of stockinette stitch in main colour. Yarn a total of 530 g or 1770 m (1940 yds) of Drops Alpaca, 100% alpaca with 167 m (183 yds) in 50 g held double in 4 colours: C1: ca. 7 skeins of main colour 7238 dark oliveC2: ca. 1.5 skein 3969 red/purple; C3: ca. 1.5 skein 0501 light grey; C4: ca. 1 skein 0506 dark grey; Or any similar yarn to match the gauge. Needles and notions: 3.5 mm (US 4) or 4.0 mm (US6) circular needles with 40 cm/16 in long cable, 1 stitch marker, tapestry needle or a crochet hook to weave in the ends. Gauge: 20 sts and 27 rows in 10 cm /4 in over stockinette stitch with colour work pattern in a round on 3.5 mm (US 4) needles after blocking.
